Who we are
FlowMetrics is a dashboard that turns Jira Cloud issue history into team flow metrics. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Atlassian.
What we store
  • Your Atlassian account ID, display name, email address and avatar URL, received when you sign in.
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens for your Atlassian account, encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
  • The Jira site you selected and your team settings: project, workflow mapping, issue types and service level expectation.
  • For the projects you sync: issue keys, titles, types, creation dates and status history. No descriptions, comments or attachments.
  • A session record, of which only a SHA-256 hash of the session token is stored.
Why we store it
Only to sign you in, show who is signed in, read your Jira data with your own permissions and compute your metrics. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising or share it with other users.
Access to Jira
FlowMetrics requests read-only scopes (read:jira-work, read:jira-user and offline_access). It can't create, change or delete anything in Jira, and it only sees what your own Jira account is allowed to see.
Where it is stored
The app runs on Vercel and stores data in a managed Redis database. Data is sent over HTTPS only. These providers process data on our behalf and don't use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
As long as you use FlowMetrics. Sessions expire after 30 days. Settings → Delete my data removes everything we store about you at once and signs you out on every device.
Closed or changed Atlassian accounts
We report the Atlassian accounts we store to Atlassian's personal data reporting API at least every 7 days. When Atlassian tells us an account was closed, we delete all of its data. When the profile changed, we drop our copy until you sign in again.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Most of this you can do yourself in the app. For anything else, contact us using the details below.
